How much is this going to cost?
Budget
The goal is for this is to keep costs as low as possible while facilitating a good team experience.
Team Fees
Team fees are TBD based on input from clubs and approved club budget. Depending on input, team fees may go to:
Org and referee insurance
Org admin costs
"All Star" match
contribute to a SETR Nationals team
Clinics - player, coach, referee
Individual Player
We are investigating the costs/benefits of USA Touch registration or registering directly as SETR. Unfortunately, we must choose one or the other in order to get adequate insurance coverage. Individual player fees may go towards:
Individual Insurance (if not USA Touch)
Oversight
We will ask for participation from some of the member clubs as part of an oversight board.
How do we make this happen?
Org Structure Needs
We need some folks to volunteer to help make this happen:
5 Board Members (financial oversight)
1 Commissioner
1 Regional Secretary per 3 clubs
Club Council (1 from each club)
Match Secretary (1 from each club, can be same as Club Council Rep)
Open Questions
Do we work with USA Touch or form our own organization (mostly for insurance)?
What are the expected expenses? What should the payment mix be between club/player?
How do we get volunteers?
How many clubs do we target?
What requirements for Refereeing? Can we move towards paid refs?
